ABOUT ME

So, a little about me.

Writing about myself has never been my favourite thing, but here goes.

Straight out of high school, while many of my friends were heading to university, I had one dream — to see the pyramids of Egypt. I saved every dollar I could and eventually set off with my camera to explore Egypt and Europe. That trip sparked something in me: a love of travel, people, and documenting moments as they unfold.

Not long after, I landed my first job in photography at Kodak over 25 years ago, and that’s where my love for the craft truly began. I spent years working with film, printing photographs in the darkroom for professional photographers and learning the art of creating beautiful images long before everything became digital.

When the industry shifted to digital photography, I reluctantly learned a whole new way of working. After time spent in various studios, I started my own business editing images for other wedding photographers. It didn’t take long to realise that sitting in front of a computer all day definitely wasn’t for me. What I really wanted was to be outside, photographing couples in love and capturing real moments as they happen.

So that’s exactly what I did.

These days, while there is still plenty of time spent behind the computer, I’m editing photographs I’ve taken myself — and that makes all the difference.

I live in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula with my high school sweetheart, Ben, and our son Lenny. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me at the beach, travelling somewhere new, enjoying a long coffee, or searching for great food. Living by the ocean here on the Peninsula is something I never take for granted.

And if there’s one thing I love almost as much as photography… it’s eating.

YOUR WEDDING

My goal is to create beautiful, timeless photographs while making sure you truly enjoy every moment of your wedding day.

My approach is relaxed, natural, and unobtrusive. I understand that being in front of the camera can feel a little intimidating, so I focus on creating an environment where you can feel completely comfortable and simply enjoy the experience.

Throughout the day I capture a thoughtful balance of natural portraits, candid moments, and the atmosphere of your celebration as it unfolds. Rather than heavily posed images, I gently guide you when needed to ensure you look your very best while keeping everything feeling effortless and genuine.

Every couple is different. Some love a little direction, while others prefer a more documentary approach, and I’m always happy to adapt to whatever feels most natural for you.

From the excitement of getting ready through to the celebrations later in the evening, I’ll be there to document the story of your day as it happens.
